What a product! Way to go Google / Nest! Treat the clients that helped start your product like crap.

So you think throwing half off on another one of your thermostats will make everyone happy? Think again. So I guess you’ll keep ver 4 around for another few years before you bash the product in again. 
I’d rather spend $500 with a company that actually cares about it customers than buy another piece of junk that you won’t stand behind. 
And don’t give me the sad story of not being able to support older products. Trash companies have been throwing that in our face since they learned how to rip people off. 
You can come recycle your trash thermo out of my trash can.

I will never buy anything near this product line ever again. Essentially bricking a perfectly good working thermostat.

should be mean end of updates but actually disconnecting my equipment.

 

This whole product line is toast.
