My wired nest camera is not recording. How do I fix this?

If you want suggestions from those of us in this community forum, can you provide some specifics, such as: Which camera do you have? Is it in the Google Nest app, the Google Home app, or the beta "Public Preview" version of the Google Home app? Did this just start happening, or did it start happening when you recently installed your camera? Do you have a Nest Aware or Nest Aware Plus subscription? Are you getting any video history at all? Can you view the live feed?
If you want to talk to Support instead:
1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.
