So I’m on vacation away from home and my Yale lock has gone offline. I placed the lock in privacy mode through the app before I left.
does anyone know if the Yale lock has a fallback plan to disable privacy mode when it loses connection ?
I’m pretty worried about not being able to get into my house because this lock lacks a physical key.

I’ve also ran into this issue recently but I live 200 miles away from the home with the lock and other people need in from time to time and are unable to get in even with a code. How did you fix this issue?

So since my lock is offline currently I can’t unlock my door from my current location. How will the lock become online to use the app and turn privacy mode off and u lock the door?

You can't do anything about it remotely. I am afraid you need to probably restart the lock or the Nest Connect if you have one, at the location for it to get connected again. You can try to make sure that your app is working properly, that it's updated etc. but you will need a connection to the device to make any changes to it remotely.
Best regards,
Brad

Ok so just as clarification when I show up again to the property with the lock I can connect to the lock with my phone and unlock it or restart it and get into the property? Is it just the home owner that can do this or Can other family members do this as well?

Only people with access to the lock can unlock. Unless there have been guest passcodes that have been shared, but the lock will need to be connected for anyone to gain access.

Brad
