nest not connecting to wifi

I've tried everything. I restarted it, checked my internet connection... but I pressed "forget this devise" and now it will not connect to it

What kind of device is not connecting?😊
If it is a Nest speaker or Hub check THIS link on how to factory reset the device.
After a factory reset you need to set it up like a new device.

it is a google nest mini and i already did a factory reset

yes i did. several times.

no errors except that i cannot connect.

I'm experiencing the same problem. Tried everything on the troubleshooting pages. Even uninstalled app and reinstalled.

Could you try creating a new home within the Google Home app to see if that resolves the issue?

@Esmerrod07, a few questions: was your Google Nest Mini connected before? If yes, were there any changes to your network? How far is your device from the Wi-Fi router? Have you tried using a different phone for setup?

@SCT1 and @Dguti, what Google Home or Nest devices do you have? Is this the first time set up? What's the message that you're getting during the configuration process?

Hi there,

 

To eliminate network issues, please try setting up your device using a mobile hotspot. Please note that you will need two mobile devices for this setup (one will serve as a router and the other to be used to set up your Google Nest Mini).

I'm having the same issue. And do create a new home still no go. Did anyone solve this?

I have a third generation nest thermostat that has worked fine with the nest app for 10 months. A few days ago it went offline and will not reconnect. When searching for WiFi it doesn't find any signals. Our ISP is Sky and remains  unchanged.

It just says 'failed to connect' and then when searching for a network it doesn't pick anything up.
