So I have an odd issue that I have had for almost a year and no matter what I do it won't stop.
So a bit of info on my setup.
I have one house and my girlfriend is a house member as a manager. We have nest hubs and Lenovo alarm clock with google assistant.
If my girlfriend and only her says, "turn off bedroom lights" google will reply with " sorry, Philips hue not connected" I got rid of my hue stuff about a year ago. I then removed hue from google home, still happened and It got to the point where I re-downloaded hue, removed all rooms and devices from my account one by one and then deleted my hue account. This still happens on all speakers... But only for her and only that exact phrase. If I say it, I have no issue. We have renamed the room to master bedroom but out of habit we still say bedroom. "Master bedroom" works no problem for her but if she doesn't say master then it doesn't work.
I have removed her from the house and re added her and it still happens.
I'm at a loss as what else I can try.
Thanks for any help

Hey Incorrectuserna,
That certainly hasn't been easy for you — let's see what's going on.
Try checking this link to see if the Philips Hue devices are still linked to her account. Clearing the cache and data of her Google Home app then, reinstall it might help too.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks,
Alex

So Phillips hue was still listed there even though it was removed from the Google home app. I have removed it there. When my girlfriend gets back I will get her to test it. I will update soon.
Thanks for the reply!

Still no luck. We have done the same on her phone as well. Unfortunately doesn't help. Still does it only when she says that phrase.

We figured it out. She had hue linked in her home app "works with google" section under settings, but only in the app and not the link that was suggested above. Seems like google having the same page in two places and then both being different was the issue of us not seeing it. I feel those 2 pages should match considering they are the same thing. But after 1.5 years of frustration it has been fixed. Thanks for the help.
