script editor nest cam person detection only in zones

Hello,

I am trying to use a person detection as a trigger but I want to have a person detection only in the pre determined activity zones. Is there anyway to add the zones detection as a condition to the automation?

It also appears that person detection automations are not available for the Nest Hello doorbell.

Definitely need this. Same problem and here I am putting tape on the camera to mark off the desired activity zone since I can't find a script reference for activity zones.

Same here my camera picks up the road so a vehicle motion event is non stop. I want to just have the driveway tell my speaker that a car is moving in the driveway for safety.

One workaround if you only have one zone is to define Zone 1 to be where you don't want any events, and then use the "Outsize of zone" for the zone where you do want events.  This seems to work with the Automations script.
