turn lights on/off

I hooked this up at noon and it work perfect

later in the after noon I told google to turn lights and it come back with [you need to set up the command in assistance settings]  I have looked everywhere and can not find what to set up next

Thanks for reaching out. 

 

To make sure, what Google Nest device are you referring to? What app did you use when you set up your device? Also, make sure your devices are connected to the same network and within 15-20 feet of your router.

thanks for the mail I been busy busy since I had trouble and am just now getting back to the set up I have deleted every thing and reinstalled the [home app]  on my phone [a Samsung android]    I am trying to install the [google home mini] all I need it to do is to turn on and off an [sonoff switch] pugged into the wall with a light pluged into the switch so I can use my voice to turn on and off a light.  I need it so my wife can use it also

Thanks for the update. Have you successfully linked your Sonoff account to your Google Home app? If so, are you getting any response when you're trying to control it using your Google Home Mini? You may also check this article to create routines for your devices.
