Adding faces not working😡

Finally got my nest doorbell cam from ADT yesterday and after asking me about 2 faces (do I know them or not, would I like to add faces) that function hasn't come up again although several other people have shown up at the door and the camera even recognized "a person event".  I've searched online, but none of the manual ways suggested of adding a face are available in my app.  It said to go into the history/ event and when open to Swipe up, well that does nothing.. can someone please help?  Also is there a way to zoom out?  My ADT can had a way better horizontal view.

Thanks for sharing that with us. Let’s check this out — a few questions: are you using the Google Home app or ADT app for the familiar face detection? Do you have an active Nest Aware subscription? Also, do you have a Nest Hello doorbell (wired) or the Nest Doorbell (battery)?

it's wired, using the home app since you cannot view the Nest cam on the ADT app (this must be fixed as it's super inconvenient).  I'm not paying for a nest aware subscription if that's what your asking.  As mentioned it has asked me about 2 faces thus far (still) and that's it.  There's supposed to be a manual way of adding faces when I see them, but that's not avail.

Hey Pierre22,

 

Thanks for getting back to us. I can understand you on this. The familiar face detection is one of the features of Nest Aware. Without an active Nest Aware subscription, you can only get basic motion detection and event recording for 3 hours.
