Can't see video history after i migrated my account to my husbands phone.

I was trying to fix my husband's Google Nest Doorbell camera on his phone because it was not giving a sound notification anymore when someone would come to the door. I tried different ways to fix it and ended up migrating the account to his phone. I didn't realize by doing that, I would lose the ability to view video history on my phone. It is possible to see video history on both phones? If not, how do I migrate the account back to me?

What do you mean by "migrating the account to his phone"? There really isn't such a thing. Do you mean that you logged onto the Google Nest app and/or the Google Home app using your Google Account on your husband's phone? If so, then you should get whatever notifications you've configured in those apps on your Google Account. And you should get the same notifications on each device where you've logged into the Google Nest app and/or the Google Home app with the same Google Account.

If you are the one who created your Google Nest "home/structure", then have you invited your husband to be a member of that "home"? And is he then signing onto the Google Nest app and/or the Google Home app using his Google Account?

Yes, he is using the Nest App. It also works on the Home App. Yes, I invited him. Then on his phone, I accepted the invitation and followed the steps provided. There were two buttons at one point. One said migration and I don't remember what the other one said. The other button didn't work, but the migration one did. And now, I don't have my video history on my phone.

An incident happened this morning and I am trying to see who is was.

I don't have my husband's phone with me currently. I may have actually migrated him to his google account. Does that me I now have to be invited by him to join home and migrate as well?

It sounds like--on your husband's phone--you may have migrated your Nest Account to a Google Account (his Google Account). Do you know if it was successful? If it was, then it should have migrated your Nest Account to your husband's Google Account.

If that's the case, then your husband should now be able to log onto both the Google Nest app and the Google Home app with his Google Account. And he will need to go into the Google Home app and invite you to be a member of your Google Nest "home", with the invitation going to your Google (gmail) account. Once you accept the invitation, you should be able to log onto both the Google Nest app and the Google Home app with your Google Account.

This all assumes there are no other glitches that occurred. I don't know, for example, what was going on that prompted you to attempt the migration.

Hi, thank you for your replies. I really don't know exactly what I did. His phone stopped doing sound notifications when someone was at the door. I am in IT and I am embarrassed to say how screwed up I made this!! I am not sure if it was actually migrated or not. He has a very old (SE) iPhone and it is so tiny. It is hard to read what is on the screen. I did eventually get into my Nest App and Home App and was able to see video history. But, I can't find where the recognized / unrecognized people section is.

If you're talking about "Familiar face detection", we don't use it, but you could check this Help topic:
