Cannot login to nest https://home.nest.com/ with my gmail just reloads the login page with no error

Cannot login to Nest with Gmail account even though I migrated - doesn't give error - just 'reloads'

I migrated my nest to my gmail account, I can see it under subscriptions in my gmail account.

When I go to the Nest website and try to login with my gmail account, it doesn't login, it just reloads the login page. Doesn't give an error, doesn't say can't find account or incorrect anything, just reloads the login page. Every time... what's happening here? I can access the app on my phone, but that's it, cannot through the site.

Anyhow... if someone can help give me advice to login to my nest account, which was migrated to my gmail account, please let me know. (Again, no error is received, when I click on my gmail address the login screen just reloads... so, no idea what's happening here). This has been happening for the last 6 months.

I'm just another Google Nest customer, but are you able to clear your browser's cache for the home.nest.com site? Or can you try accessing the site in a different browser?

Hey there,

Thanks for the idea. That did work when I tried it in Edge instead of Firefox. I had thought I had done sort of the same thing as I had tried in incognito mode where it wouldn't have any history either. For what it's worth, clearing the cache and retrying including in incognito mode still didn't work in Firefox for some reason.

Anyhow, thanks for tip at least I can access it somehow.

I use Firefox on a Mac with no problems.

Does the new home.google.com website work for you? It has live-streaming only and is in "preview" mode.

home.google.com seemed to work fine, so once that's out of preview that should probably work well.
