Thanks for reaching out. To confirm, is your Chromecast plugged into the HDMI port on your monitor? If yes, you can check this support website article to see the steps on how to cast from a mobile phone. 

Note: we recommend plugging in the Chromecast directly on the HDMI port on your TV to experience the best performance of the device.

Hi Jennifer, I don't have a Chromecast device. My question was how can I  cast Nest cam videos from my Android phone Home app to m y Windows PC.  Is that possible? Cindy

While you won't be able to cast your Nest Camera feed to your PC, you can simply view it through https://goo.gle/2UZL8VI in a browser that supports WebRTC and Media Source Extensions (MSE).
