Google Nest Aware not working on iOS

Recently got a Google Nest Doorbell (battery) however I can't access the Nets Aware functionality from Google Home app. Tried adding it to the Nest app but tells me to go to the Home app.

The 2nd gen Google Nest cameras and doorbells released starting in Sept. 2021 work only in the Google Home app and on the home.google.com website.

However, a Nest Aware or Nest Aware Plus subscription applies to all 1st gen and 2nd gen Google Nest cameras and doorbells in the same Google Nest "home/structure".

You view history saved with a Nest Aware subscription in the Google Nest app for 1st gen cameras, and in the Google Home app for 2nd gen cameras.

If you have an existing old 1st gen Nest Aware subscription, note that that subscription is per camera and applies only to 1st gen cameras and doorbells.

Hi @MplsCustomer , I have a gen 2 bell however in the home app can't find were to enable Nest aware options. 

I created a zone so that I can get notification based on what happens in that zone. When I edit the zone it just says "Your notifications: Off" when I tap on it just say "Choose which events you want to be notified about in this zone" but theres no option available.

This is what we get for our "Outside of zone" activity zone, where we have NOT selected any events to appear in this home's history.

And this is what we get for our "Our Yard" activity zone, where we have selected "People" events, AND have turned on notifications for that event.

In the Google Home app, under Settings | Notifications for your camera, do you have "Push notifications" turned on?

Push notifications are enabled, I dont have the toggle options like your screenshots

I'm baffled.

I don't understand why you don't get the "Event history in this zone" options on your zone screen. It's like your options for recording history are turned off, but I don't know how that's possible in the Google Home app.

If you go to Settings | Subscriptions in the Google Home app, what does it show under Nest Aware?

If you go to Settings | Support in the Google Home app, what app version does it show under "App info"? Our current version is 3.10.103.

Are you by any chance on the beta "Public Preview" version of the Google Home app?  We are not.

If you go to Settings | Notifications | Google Home on your iPhone, are "Allow Notifications" and "Time Sensitive Notifications" turned on?

It's very strange indeed, nothing showing up under Subscriptions. I'm using app version 3.10.103 and notifications are all enabled..

Do you have a Nest Aware subscription? It isn't showing up in your Google Home app.

Did you check your subscription on the link I provided earlier (https://store.google.com/subscriptions).

I still don't know why you don't see the "Event history in this zone" options that we have (with a Nest Aware Plus subscription). Maybe you don't get those options if you don't have a subscription.

You could try deleting and reinstalling the Google Home app; you don't lose any settings.

Perhaps you should contact Support, using the link and instructions below, and walk through with them what's happening:

Hi Lance, sorry for the late reply was abroad. I did speak to support they couldn't figure it out either and they're answer was "Dont worry it will work"... but it doesn't. Will fill in the form you sent.
