Without a Nest Aware subscription, you don NOT get 3 hours of event video history; rather, you get event video history for any events that occurred and were detected and recorded in the most recent 3 hours.
When they say "Up to 30 days of event video history" with a subscription, they mean events that occurred in the last 30 days, not 720 hours (30 x 24) of video. And when they say "Up to 3 hours of event video history without a subscription, they mean events that occurred in the last 3 hours.
I've seen confusion about this wording ever since we became Google Nest's customers in 2019.
