Since upgrading to iOS 15, the Nest app continues to log out after about a minute of use. It’s really frustrating as it’s not much time to review videos from cameras. You have to log back in each time and the the cycle repeats. After a couple of times it requires you to go all the way back to logging in with Google and requires you to validate in the Google app. I’m on iOS 15.2, but this has been happening since 15.0.

Try the focus section in settings. With the new update to iOS 15 there is a focus section which turns apps off at different times of the day. You need to add the app to exempt it from focus time even if you aren’t using focus time 🙄. I learned this the hard way when I couldn’t get blood glucose readings on the app on my phone after the update and was told to do this. Thanks Apple

Yes, still having the same issue with the nest app.

I've been dealing with this issue for about two years - I've contact support a couple of times and I get nowhere. Have been a customer for 6 years - Nest thermostat, Nest Awares, Doorbell etc.. Great kit in theory but all let down by one awful app experience. It really is pathetic. Slow. Clunky. Constant errors or log outs. I'm on the verge of junking it all and starting afresh with another company.

Hey folks.
I am surprised to see that ya'll are still having this issue. Terribly sorry to hear that! Are you making sure to update your devices? Restarting your cameras? Making sure that their connections are strong? I will have to look more into this of course. Please continue to provide feedback on this issue.
Best Regards,
Brad.

This is absolutely a Nest App issue. It never happens when I use the cameras in the Google home app, only nest. I would delete the app altogether, but it has functionality that is not in Google home. Either Google home needs to get to parity in features, or the nest app needs to be updated. It’s painfully clear that there has been no investment here since Google purchased Nest. As mentioned by someone else on this string, you are at risk of losing your brand loyal customers.
