Nest aware increase price and service go down frequently disconnect while reviewing video

Thanks for posting in the community. I understand you're experiencing frequent disconnections on your Nest Aware subscription while reviewing your video history, especially after the price increase. Don't worry, I'd be more than glad to assist you. To better support you, I have some questions for you:

  • What type of Nest Camera do you have? To find the model of your cameras, please visit the following helpful article: Nest camera and doorbell lights and sounds.
  • Are you experiencing this issue with all your Nest Cameras or just with one?
  • Do you have the Nest Aware Base or the Nest Aware Plus subscription?
  • When you attempt to review your video history, do you receive an error message?
  • Are your Nest Cameras in the same home as your Nest Aware subscription?

Any additional details you can provide will be helpful.

Hello Jonathan thanks for replying before I answer all the questions you asked I wanted to let you know that I am going through vpn will that cause disconnect?

the error is blue screen and says “there was a problem connecting to the nest service.Try again in a few minutes”

I could not add picture .

Hi @Panchoeltorro,

 

Thanks for your response. Using a VPN may be the cause of your Nest Camera's disconnections. It often interferes with the continuous connection that Nest cameras need to stream video. I recommend temporarily turning off your VPN to see if the connection issues with your Nest cameras are resolved.

That was the cause I tested with and without and without the stream stays without dropping out thanks for help
