I added a second home to my nest app, and added a thermostat and door bell. My original home is working fine. The second home doorbell camera is working, but not recording. It appears my first home is using nest aware and second home is not. Shouldn’t I be able to have two homes on nest aware account? It’s saying subscription expired in my second home. My subscription is not expired on my first home and my second home should be on that subscription.

A Nest Aware or Nest Aware Plus subscription applies to only one Google Nest "home/structure" on the same Wi-Fi network.

It also says this:

Hi folks,
be455x, I’m sorry for the confusion here. The Nest Aware subscription applies per home structure and isn’t transferable between home structures and accounts.
MplsCustomer, thanks for your help.
Thanks,
JT

If that’s the case, they should really rephrase their description on their website:
“You can use the Nest app to add more Nest products to your home, and create another home and add products to it. You can also move products to a new home or between rooms in a home.”
this makes it sound like there is no additional charge. This is from the Google web site.

I agree. The limitation of one Google Nest "home/structure" per Nest Aware subscription is not stated clearly anywhere.
Another that has misled MANY customers is "If you have a newer camera like Nest Cam (battery) or Nest Doorbell (battery), you can get up to 3 hours of event video history without a subscription."
To be accurate, it should say: "If you have a newer camera like Nest Cam (battery) or Nest Doorbell (battery), you can get event video history for the most recent 3 hours without a subscription."
