I installed Nest when it was first available, and it worked great. Recently I installed 3 new Nest alarm systems. One of them started beeping once every minute indicating battery problems. It was under warranty then, I talked to Nest Support, and they won't change the battery, I have to buy the battery. 2nd installation just started doing the same, indicating battery problems. I paid almost 300 dollars for the 3 nests. I AM DONE WITH NESTS. THESE NEW NESTS ARE EXPENSIVE AND NOT RELIABLE AT ALL. I AM REMOVING THEM AND INSTALLING FIRST ALERT SYSTEMS.
NEVER BUYING NESTS AGAIN. UNFORTUNATELY, SUPPORT IS NOT GREAT.
