Motion not detected … several times… still

First of all I have gen 1 and gen 2 cameras. My operating systems are iOS and web browsers and third this has been going on forever it seems like. I checked on this months ago and saw that several people reported the issue and I assumed it would get taken care of. Here is just my most recent occurrence.

—Then Not sure what motion occurred while the vehicle was gone because it didn’t show up on both nest and google home. 

— then truck pulls back in the driveway and this time not even 3 little dots of notification. Just.. well .. nothing!! How can this be A SECURITY camera when it’s so unreliable. Please, You have to fix this!! I have had several other occasions of people coming to the door and not being recorded, but I won’t go into that right now. Honestly, I have been had break ins before and that is nothing to mess around with. Please fix your issues.

Our cameras also fail to detect obvious motion (like a car driving directly towards the camera) from time to time, particularly at night.

I apologize for my late response and thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I understand how frustrating your situation must be, and I would love to help however I can. Unfortunately, the technology isn't perfect, and sometimes events are missed, or it mis-identifies an event for something else, this can happen. Best thing you can do is just make sure you have the correct settings set up for your cam, and submit feedback in the app when something doesn't work.
