My 2nd generation Nest Thermostat is not working correctly it sent out a wrong command to the compressor it’s calling for heat mode, would not switch to heat, stay in cool. Screen would show heat mode but the AC would not switch to heat. AC repair tech switched out to a conventional thermostat, problems went away… Central Air working flawlessly, Reinstalled the Nest problem showed up. I understood from taking to the AC techs, his comments were, this a known problem with the Nest thermostat products. Is nest investigating this issues, and will they sent me a replacement or is it out of warranty’s? Nest if you are reading this, what is the solutions to get my $200+ thermostat working again.
