3rd gen nest to existing electric furnace

I have hooked 3 Nest learning thermostats to 3 gas furnaces.  The hookup was straight forward.  I have one more furnace/AC and it's electric with no humidifier.  The existing thermostat that I will be replacing has the following wires hooked up;

G on the thermostat to the green wire

W to white

C to a second white wire

Y to both a blue wire AND a red wire

Then for the last 2 connections on the right there is a space in the lettering and then the letters RC together with a 2 lugs for connection.  There is a red wire in the left of the two connections and a junper from that one to the far right lug.

The Nest hookups are a bit different with a Y1 and Y2 G ob, and Rc on the left.  On the right W1 W2aux C * and Rh.

Thanks for any help .  Jim 815-519-3521

Hi jimleejetpilot,

Thanks for posting here in the Community forum and for showing interest in our Nest Thermostats. Are you located in North America or Europe? Also, could you send us a photo of how are the thermostat wires connected to your thermostat base so we can get a closer look with its compatibility with our Nest Thermostat? You may also use our compatibility checker to determine if a Nest Thermostat is compatible with your heating and cooling system.

Keep us posted.

Best,

Zoe
