4th Gen Thermostat only allows one schedule for all modes - Revisit

"Hey Google", can we start revisiting this issue?  I feel like for a $400 thermostat this should be at least given a proper look at!  I don't want to start getting into the same issue that has already been discussed, so in the interest of time, I will link the original post.

This has NOT been answered, and nobody from the Google/Nest Team has given us a root cause for this behavior.

My cooling setpoints should NOT affect my heating setpoints and vice versa!

Hi @Frankie_C,

Thank you so much for sharing this situation with the community! I understand what happened with what occurred previously regarding the 4th generation Nest Learning Thermostat not following the schedules as you programmed them, and this situation can indeed be frustrating, especially when spending a significant amount like $400. I'm here to help you.

According to what was indicated in the previous thread, it's mentioned that you haven't received a specific response, and I apologize for that. This is certainly not the experience we want to provide. For this reason, I'd like to ask you a few questions to provide you with the correct information.

  1. Have you already contacted technical support? If so, do you have a case number?
  2. Have you tried any troubleshooting steps before?

Please feel free to share any additional details you think might be relevant.

Best regards,

Eduardo

I contacted technical support via the chat option, I don’t believe I received a ticket.  We went through all kinds of troubleshooting but to no avail. I was told that they would send my concern to development.
