Hello,
I'm trying to change my old thermostat to a Nest Learning one and upon opening the old system I saw wire labels that have description (Heat, Cool) however there are 2 wires for the 24 (50/60 and com). I would greatly appreciate if someone can tell me if the system is compatible with Nest and if so, where I should connect the wires.
Thank you

Hi Banchukov,
Thanks for reaching out. The wiring of your current thermostat looks like it's proprietary. Proprietary systems aren’t compatible with Google Nest thermostats. However, some proprietary systems can be rewired by a pro installer to be compatible.
Thanks,
Edward

Hi Edward, thank you for the reply. I did actually found several people with the same setups who succeeded in the installation. I followed their instructions and Nest is fully functioning.
