A/C unit cycles on & off repeatedly

Hi, I just installed a new Nest learning thermostat on & try to turn on the a/c  but my outside unit come on & off repeatedly. Prior to the new thermostat, it was wired on the Honeywell thermostat & it works fine.

I’m having the same issue. Original thermostat is Honeywell as well, but my wiring is different.

@mtran0363, thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue when calling for cooling with your Nest Thermostat. I'd love to know more about this and I have a few a questions:

• What is the make and model of your outside unit?
• What is the power reading of your Nest Thermostat? You could find this info by going to Settings > Technical Info > Power.

@kpend, could you also share your Nest Thermostat's wiring?
