I have two nest thermostats that I have set up identically. One is working great. The other refuses to stay in adaptive eco mode. I turn it on, leave that screen and the slider is back to the off position when I return. Any way to keep this device in the adaptive eco mode?

Sorry for the delayed reply. Took me a while to figure out the exact model. The model is g4cvz. Note that a restart did not solve the issue. Both of the units are the same model and now the eco does not seem to stay on for either unit. I saw online that you need a 4th gen Nest for eco. Is this model 4th gen? Was not able to tell.

Based on the model information provided, it seems you have the Nest Thermostat model. You can also refer to this article to confirm: How to tell which Nest thermostat you have.
To better assist you, please provide the following information:
If a schedule is currently in place, please reset it and leave the thermostat unscheduled for the next 24 hours.
Additionally, ensure that the Google Home app is set to "Home" mode, not "Away." For instructions, please refer to this article: Manually switch your home to Away or Home mode.

Hi,
I am not part of either program. However, I do have a schedule. Not sure what you want me to do with resetting the schedule. Do you just want it to be set to a single temperature for 24 hours? The unit is also in home mode.

Thanks for posting in the Community! Sorry to hear that the issue persisted after the restart and reset of the schedule. Have you tried performing a Factory Reset and set it up again?

I did a factory reset, and when asked during setup I activated the "eco" mode. It now seems to work, but in the app it still says that it is not active. There seems to be a bug in the app where you cannot control this feature and need to set it up at install time.
