Feature Request: Add Quarter Degree Adjustment Capability in Nest Thermostat App

Since I have been using the Nest thermostat for quite some time now, I find I am moving the dial a quarter adjustment at a time. Those little marks between two degrees, there are four of them. Bars I guess you'd call them. 

I want to be able to make these same quarter bar adjustments using my Android phone from anywhere.

I agree with this request. The difference in a quarter of a degree can effect whether my furnace runs for 5 mins vs 30 mins

Right now, we don’t have an answer to that, but rest assured, there are a lot of features that have been made possible because of customers' feedback. Our Product team is collecting all of the features that our customers are requesting, and they are going to look at how they can be done in the future.

I had recently submitted a request for the Next App to allow for quarter point adjustments between degree settings.

I just thought of how to do this in the code. When a press on the temperature button on the screen is detected, a pop-up drop down menu selection becomes available. The user could then press or click on the degree setting by quarterly adjustments as desired.

Currently the user can press and hold the temperature selector indicator and move to set the temperature but, the accuracy takes some amount of patience to get it exact. A drop down menu would be much easier for the user.

What do you think, Google, can we get that update revision soon?
