Hi!
I've installed a nest thermostat before in my old apartment but it was pretty much the basic wires (Y, C, G, R and W) that lined up to the Nest Thermostat. Moved into a new home and my Honeywell thermostat has these wires. Google says the Nest Thermostat is compatible but I was wondering where would the wires go? Specifically the red R and the dark blue Rc that is connected to R as well.
If the nest thermostat isn't compatible is the Nest Learning Thermostat compatible and where would the R, and Rc go?
Unable to upload image but here's the image below
thanks in advanced 🙂

Hi Krysaurus,
Thanks for posting here in the Community forum and for showing interest in our Nest Thermostats. Fortunately, your thermostat wires are compatible with any of our Nest Thermostat and should be wired to the Nest Thermostat base as follows:
You don't have to install the blue jumper wire from RC to R to the Nest Thermostat base, as that is not needed. Also, here's a guide for the installation and setup of a Nest Thermostat.
Let us know if that helps.
Best,
Zoe
