Adding Thermostat to OS X

Note:  this might be a repeat, i could not fond my initial query, probably did it wrong.  I have a working Nest thermostat, works great.  I added another Nest thermostat , actually the person  who installed the new A/C unit, to control the new A?C unit.  It was added to the WI-Fi for the house and is controlling the new A/C unit.  But I can't add it to the Macintosh OS X applications.  I go to add a unit in settings and all it seems to want to do is replace the initial (the first A/C  unit) which of course os not whatI want do. I want to add another thermostat.  I sent sometime looking thru the community , no help.  See seems to give guidance for a smart phone, but not for Macintosh OS X.   Would appreciate help.

Hey BigKid,

Sorry to hear you are still having the trouble. Just to double-check, you are trying to use your Mac to control the device? I did find an article that provides more details on how to add and control devices using the PC. Reviewing the article, you may need to create another Home to add the 2nd device, and would just switch between Home's to control those. Let me know if that helps.

Best regards,

Jake
