I like my house as cold as possible. As much as possible.
As we approach winter it would be great if I could setup Nest to automatically turn the fan on when the outside temperature is below a defined value and have the fan run for a separate length of time.
For example: Whenever the outside temperature is below 65F, turn the fan on in the home for X hours or until it reaches 65F, whichever comes first.
I don't want to run the compressor and chew up energy, I want to use the cold air Mother Nature has provided.

And Likewise, I'd like to set my fan to come on when the temperature gets too warm, since I don't have AC.
I previously fooled the Nest Learning to believe I had AC, so it would turn "on" the fan when cooling was requested, and I still had independent fan control. But all that changed after a firmware upgrade, and now I can't hack it, per se.
