Balancing the room temperatures is with nest sensors

jmichaelo
Community Member

I would like to place a sensor upstairs in my home and have my nest learning thermostat balance the temperature between what it feels in my downstairs hallway and the temperature of the upstairs sensor. In addition, I would like it to use the fan to redistribute the heat if it's too hot upstairs as opposed to turning on the heat if it's too cool downstairs. Is this possible? I don't believe so, but I'd like to start the conversation.

Thanks for answering the question. I do hope that Nest gets more sophisticated in the use of remote thermostats. Aside from having nest average out temperatures across the thermostats, for example I could have it schedule temperatures in different rooms throughout the day and night. Thanks for considering the suggestions.
