I am having trouble with history.  It is a new install but is only showing last 3 days of December in history nothing for January.  I was away for 3 days and definitely in Eco mode but no history showing.

Hi darodg55,

Uh-oh! Your Google Nest Thermostat’s Energy History records how often and for how long your system has run over the last 10 days. Energy History shows you how to make smart choices about your schedule and temperature preferences. If you're experiencing issues with the history feature on your Nest Learning Thermostat, here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:

  1. Ensure that the date and time settings on your Nest Thermostat are accurately set. Incorrect date or time settings can affect the display of historical data. You can adjust the date and time settings in the thermostat's menu or through the accompanying app.
  2. Confirm that your Nest Thermostat is connected to Wi-Fi and has a stable internet connection. The history data is stored and accessed through the Nest servers, so a reliable internet connection is necessary to view the data. Try restarting your Wi-Fi router or reconnecting the thermostat to Wi-Fi if you suspect connectivity issues.
  3. It may take some time for the historical data to sync and appear in the history section of your Nest app. Give it a bit of time, and check back later to see if the missing data has been updated.
  4. Ensure that your Nest Thermostat is running the latest firmware version. Firmware updates can address bugs or issues related to data display. You can check for firmware updates in the thermostat's settings menu or through the Nest app.

Let us know how it goes.

Best,

Zoe
