Best not pumping heat consistently

  • No matter the setting, ie; heart or cool, the cool air pumps out.
  • We adjusted the settings a lot in attempts to fix, something worked but my husband did his own adjusting too and I am not sure what went right. 
  • I do not have the c wire, BUT I think it's important to note again that the heater HAS worked properly so I don't think that's an issue, I just have no clue what settings it was on when it worked so I'm just stumped at this point.
  • I couldn't tell you what my heat is on (natural or electric or what whatever) I just know I pay pg&e for both lol. 
  • I rent, and my landlord isn't available in a way that he will be able to answer that question .
  • My current thermostat is a Honeywell Home, nothing fancy at all just a digital screen (tiny) beige rectangle, Old school, for lack of better words. Thanks for all the help in Advance!
