Best thermostat

I have a nest thermostat which worked  great for the first few years installed. Ever since Google got involved it has gone from bad to worse. The forced migration to the Google App has caused complete failure of the product. The latest issue I’m having with it is that it always shows a week connection to the WiFi while a Google mesh puck is less that 6 feet away. I’m very close to just throwing it away and buying an American made product. I hope Honeywell has one.

Latest issue, I can see the thermostat in the App but it shows the Away symbol and WONT let me enter the thermostat itself. This was always a very simple feature when Nest was a stand alone company, what did Google do to it?
Any suggestions?

Hello TonyD1,

I know it has been a while, and I'm sorry to hear you're having issues reconnecting your Nest Thermostat in the app. But I'd love to know more about this.

How's it going? Have you managed to access your thermostat in the app? It appears that you might log in using a different account. Please make sure to sign in with the email address associated with your thermostat. If so, check for other available structures where your thermostat might be connected.

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks,

Mark
