this is a device I have had for a long time, however, for some reason all of my google devices disappeared from my accounts.. yet the devices still think they are attached to the google account...
I have done a factory reset, on my thermostat only to tell me it is still connected to "an account"... yet checking the nest app and the google home app, the device is not there. in fact NO devices are listed.
the google FAQ's say to open the home app then settings then click remove..there is NO REMOVE option.
yes I have checked if I am logged in to the proper account. and I have now done a FACTORY RESET on the "smart" thermostat now at least 5 times.. it will not reset.. please help

Thanks for reaching out and we're sorry for the delay.
I'd like to jump in here and check if you're still getting the same error on your thermostat. We could try to do a complete factory data reset on your Nest thermostat and then uninstall and reinstall the Nest app or Google Home app.
