Here is the situation. We set up three Nest Thermostat E’s and control them through the Nest app on my wife’s iPhone. She does not want to transition to Google Home (she is used to the Nest app and is reluctant to change) but she can not create a family arrangement any more in the Nest app. Therefore the only one that can control the thermostat through the phone is her.
if she were to convert the Nest to Google home do we can add me as a member of the family will the control of the thermostats by her in the Nest app no longer work? That would be unacceptable to her.
conversely could I simply set the thermostats up in Google home on my phone and leave hers as it is?
