Regarding Nest Thermostat: installed July 2020
I don’t know why I got logged out of my Nest account but I cannot log back in. It repeatedly tells me my email or password are incorrect. I have changed my email address since this was installed. But even if I type in my old email address it won’t log me in. It encourages me to migrate over to my Google account. I don’t want to do that. So I cannot manage my thermostat through the app. I can’t seem to get help through any avenue at Google Support. Can a yo e help me out here?

We sometimes get logged out of Nest on our phones or on our computer.
Since Google Nest does not provide any way that I know of for an account owner to change their email, I think the only way you would be able to log into the Google Nest app with your current email and password is if you had previously removed your thermostat from the Google Nest app while logged in with your old password, removed the thermostat from your app, done a factory reset, and reinstalled your thermostat in the Google Nest app while logged in with your new password.
If you didn't do that, are you able to try logging in with your old email address and request a password reset? That would send an email to your old email address, so you would need access to your old email address.
