Can't log into Nest App . I'am at a remote location and can't control thermostat

Have been using the APP for several years with no issues now can't log into Nest account. After entering my nest password I receive message "Couldn't sign in your email or password may be incorrect, Try again or sign in with Google" Password is good and not changed. Deleted IOS APP and reinstalled and still receive same message over and over. At this point I may have migrated the account but not certain . I'am at a remote location thousand miles from the home thermostat and need to get this working.

  1. Even if you believe your password is correct, try resetting it through the Nest Web App or Nest app. This can sometimes resolve login issues.
  2. As you mentioned the possibility of migrating your account, it's crucial to confirm if this process was completed. You should receive a confirmation via email if it is successful.
  3. Double-check that the email associated with your Nest account is correct. Ensure there are no typos or changes that might have occurred unintentionally.
  4. Also, you might have used a different email address associated with your Nest Thermostat at home. Make sure that you are logging in correctly.
