Can you use the fan in heating/cooling mode to even out the temperature?

Hi:   I have a Nest thermostat and two temperature sensors, one upstairs and one downstairs in a different area from the thermostat.   I would like to have the fan run when there is a large enough difference between the sensors so the hot up/cold down air can get cycled and have a more even temperature overall.   The thermostat should still work with the heating/cooling limits.  Any way to do this?

Thanks, David

Hi DavidSkinner,

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your inquiry.

You can run the fan independently, even without calling for heat or cooling. I found a helpful article on how the fan control works with a Nest Thermostat, and let us know if you have more questions.

Mark
