Cases Id for your reference is 0-0334000037132 cancel Rush Hour Participation
Hoping if I post in the community that the Google Nest support team will see this and help. It is incredibly frustrating just how hard it is to cancel Rush Hour participation. Initially they responded and I needed to give access and the link to give access expired. More than a week has gone by after me sending several emails to continue working on the issue. I haven't heard nothing. And as many others have said if you can sign up online you should be able to cancel it online. I just want to stop participation in rush hour and only somebody from the Google team can make that happen.

Interestingly, after it was already taken care of, I got an email that gave all the instructions and how to be able to cancel it yourself. Couldn't find it in the help section at all and many other people had also asked about it to no avail. I'm going to post the directions below so that they are available for anyone that needs them:
To assist you with unenrolling from the Rush Hour Program, please follow these steps:
Go to the Nest Renew Portal and tap Log in. " Sign in with the Google account linked to your Nest Renew account.
If you're already signed in when you go to the Nest Renew Portal, verify that the Google account shown is the one you used to enroll in Nest Renew. Tap the account icon with your profile picture or initial to choose, or add another account.
• Check the home structure name to ensure you've selected the home associated with your Nest Renew account. If you only have one home, skip this step.
• On a computer: Tap the home name next to the account, then tap the correct home.
• On a mobile device: Tap at the top left, tap to show the other home structure, then tap the correct home.
• Select the Settings tab. Your subscription information will appear in this tab.
• Click "Cancel" next to your Nest Renew Apollo ID number.
• When asked "Are you sure you want to cancel Nest Renew?", tap "Yes" to proceed with the cancellation or "No thanks" to keep Nest Renew.
• Tap "Done" after confirming the cancelation.

I have the same issue. Every time it happens I think that my AC unit died. Hopefully someone at Google sees your post and helps us out.

I cannot get it to cancel either. I'm just going to put my Google nest in the garbage and get a honeywell. Google is garbage

I completely understand your frustration. I don't know if you saw my post that included all the steps to take care of it yourself? After they finally responded to me Google emailed me the actual steps so you can do it by yourself. Hopefully that would help you too. Good luck!

Yes! Rush hour keeps knocking my thermostats offline and they still won’t remove rush hour.
@Googletv Also by the way, the Nest app is better than google home app!

My utility company removed me without an issues. I’d recommend talking to your own utilities instead of Google.
