Cant connect and heater keeps coming on

First off. I have a nest pro edition and that is not one of the product options

Second: it asks me to scan the qr code and it says it is not valid

Third. It asks me to manually enter the code, i try to enter the 25 or 30 digits that are exactly where they are supposed to be [just like the qr code....that doesn't work] but I can't get past 7 digits. 

WTF whats the problem. 

The fact that there is not an option for a nest pro edition is f#$@king stupid. The construction guys that installed this are morons. If you tell me I have to go back to those idiots I will never buy a nest product again. I don't care Bout your stupid pro installer network.  I just want my thermostat to work and I want support from nest directly.

There is no "pro" model thermostat. Let's first check which model of thermostat you have. You can check here:

Once you've confirmed that, you know which app you need to use for setup.

  • Nest Learning Thermostat (2nd gen)
