Cant control the heat link

Hello, I have a nest (2nd Generation) that struggles to keep its connection to the heat link. I can sometimes get it to connect and it works fine for a while but seems to disconnect every evening and doesn't automatically reconnect unless I reset both several times. They are about 10 years old. Any ideas?

How is the thermostat connected to wifi, via the router direct or booster/adapter/mesh?

...also, have you installed anything new in the house that might interfer? Anything like a fridge, microwave anything metal that has been added inside the house? Another problem has been found recently, and that is a Smart Meter if you have one. Check the settings on that when the problem happens. These all can create issues.

• What is the current color of your Heat Link's light?
• Has the Nest Thermostat been moved to a new location recently?
• What is the approximate distance between the Heat Link and the Nest Thermostat?
• Are the Heat Link and the Nest Thermostat located on the same floor of your home?
