The thermostat doesn't show if it's charging or if it's full So how do I know if it's fully charged or not or even if it's charging???

Hey Fordpaul19,

Thanks for posting and welcome to the Google Nest Community.

When plugged via USB cable, your Nest thermostat should have a blinking light on the front which confirms that it’s charging. The color of the light will depend on the battery level of the thermostat when you charge it. Usually, your thermostat will take about half an hour to recharge. But if the battery is fully drained, it can take as long as 2 hours to recharge.

Do you not see any light at all on your thermostat display when you plug it into a power source or a computer's USB port via a cable?

Melba

What colors should the light be when it's fully charged?? Also how long does that charge last before I have to charge it again??

Hey there,

It will still be green. You may check it's battery level and make sure that it should be higher than 3.6V. Check this link for more information: https://bit.ly/2ZqkRBy

As for how long the charge last, we don't have specific information about it as your thermostat's battery should be charged by your system sending power over the wires connected to it.

Melba
