I have tried charging with usb cable overnight but only stays charged for a couple of hours.  I don't know what the reading a above mean.

The display shows your battery level at 3.423 volts. That is too low for proper operation of thermostat. 3.6 is minimum to operate, 3.7 is minimum for software update. Should run between 3.8 - 3.9 volts. There are a lot of recent comments about Nest E no longer charging properly. The other voltage / amperage readings are in the normal range.

Hey jheileson,

I wanted to follow up, and see if you are still in need of any help with the thermostat battery. Please let me know, if you are still showing a lower voltage on your device.

Thanks so much endicott65 for the helpful information as well.

Best regards,

Jake
