Coming on when it shouldn’t

Hi

I had two nest series 3 thermostat fitted about 2 months ago ( dual zone)

they have been working ok until last week I noticed the hot water came on for no reason during the day. I have the anti bacterial setting switched to disable so this shouldn’t be the cause.
last night I noticed the down stairs heating was running , again outside of the schedule. The thermostat was set to 14c over night, yet it heated the downstairs to 20c until it turned off. These problems have only just started, but with the cost of gas at the moment, I really don’t want it running unnecessarily.
someone mentioned software updates by Google??
anyone else experiencing these problems?

Any suggestions/ ideas would be greatly appreciated.
thanks

I’m struggling with Google customer services. They want me to pay to have the installation checked by the installer. He won’t come without payment which they expect me to fund.
I’m pissed off with the lack of customer service with this. I bought two nest thermostats, spent £100 having them installed by a Google authorised installer and it doesn’t work properly.
I don’t see why i should pay to have the fault identified. No other company would expect me to do this with a product of theirs.
My central heating was working fine before i had them installed. Now the heating comes on for no reason, the hot water comes on when it shouldn’t ( bacteria system is deactivate) and at a time when gas is costing a fortune.
I wish i had read the reviews on trust pilot before i had bought them and had them installed. £500 of rubbish that i will be taking out in the spring.
And i will be adding to the 1.2 out of 5 reviews that Google have on trust pilot too
