Connecting Nest to Google Mini

Hello,

i’m having difficulty connecting my nest thermostat third generation to my Google minis. What’s happening is I am entering in through the Google Home app.

I go to set up device, I push works with Google, I type in Nest, it takes me to the works with Nest page, I scroll down, I press allow, and then it just skips and doesn’t do anything. I’m stuck here I’ve tried it on two different iPhones, I’ve even pulled up my chrome book and have sent myself an email with the address and tried to press allow from there and it still doesn’t work, I’ve even tried this on a PC. The error message at the top of the screen says oops we’ve encountered an error please try again.

 I can’t get past this part. Please help.
