I recently had to replace my iPhone and nothing I try can get my Next app to let me recognise my thermostat. There is supposed to be access to a seven digit code on my thermostat but it’s simply not there when I follow the instructions for finding it. If only smashing my Nest thermostat with a mallet were an option

When you get a new phone, you do not reinstall any of your Google Nest devices; they are still connected to your Google Nest "home/structure".
You just log onto the Google Nest app using the same username and password you were using on your old phone, and select the same Google Nest "home/structure" (if you have more than one).
