Control hot water boost via assistant

When will we see the ability to boost hot water through any assistant wether it's Google's or Alexa?

 

No point in highlighting features like learning when the very basics like Boosting Hot water for 30mins though universally recognised assistive (voice) technology seems to be continuously ignored.

 

I'll harshly say Nest frankly emits a perception that it has stopped innovating.  Feels like a new leadership and new least of life is required for Nest products IMHO.  Product refinement based upon customers inputs is needed instead of the 'me too movement' which seems to haunt this division resigned to a copy cat style of product iteration if at all.  As oppose to adding capabilities and innovating on existing solutions.

I am amazed that this feature is not available. It would also be fantastic to have an additional device you could add to a tank to detect the temperature of the hot water. This could have some amazing benefits worldwide. Come on guys this really would be super simple for most Devs to implement.

Apologies for my reply It sounded a bit pushy. I would like to say the thermostat is fantastic and I am sure there are lots of challenges I don't see that cause all sorts of issues with the things that could possibly be implemented.

Really appreciate all the work that goes into making these devices the amazing technology they are. It's incredible how rock solid reliable the system is. It's been flawless for me for years.

No worries, feedback and suggestions are always appreciated. With all the ideas that everyone is sharing our colleagues from engineering can work on improving both current and future products. I just wish I could give more concrete information on when or if something may be implemented but this is information that I don't have access to.
