Hi I have a 3rd gen nest system and it appears my Heatlink is dead after less than two years. G72 code on thermostat, no blue light on heat link. Checked power is available to heat link. Tried restarting unit but nothing comes on.
-6c outside 3 year old in bed and I’m not happy.

Hi there! I'm really sorry to hear bout this, but I'm here to help. Please answer the following set of questions, so I can isolate the issue:

Have you recently had service or maintenance on your electrical, plumbing, or heating system?
How many zones are present in your setup?

Were there any power outages in your area recently?

Are all the breaker switches on?

Have you tried to turn the breaker switches off and then on again?

Have you tried to press on the button of the Heat Link? No lights came up?

I have the same issues. It had been working perfectly for at least 2 year when finally the heatlink died - no lights - only when i power the heat link through usb.

My setup:

1 zone

breakers on

I turned off the power and back on - no effect

Pressing the button did not do anything. unleass powered with usb, the heatlink does not show any lights.
