Cool to dry at night

Hello, wondering if Cool to dry works at night when humidity goes up? Seems like it should but after reading docs I'm still not sure. getting warm here this week so I just turned it on and will know in a few days. Few mentions of humidity levels but refers to 'away' ops. not occupied at night. same thing? Eco Temp?

Hello m3t0034,

Thanks for posting here in the Community.

Your Eco Temp is the temperature range that you can set for your Nest thermostat if you're not at home. The Eco Temperature ranges you can choose from are large: 40–70 °F (4–21 °C) for heating mode and 76–90 °F (24–32 °C) for cooling mode. So, for example, if you're not at home and Eco Temp is active but the humidity reaches 76, it will automatically activate your AC.

If your thermostat is set to Eco Temperatures and you are home, Cool to Dry simply reduces the temperature in your house by 3 or 5 degrees Fahrenheit, as needed.

Let me know if you have more questions.

Thanks,
EdmondB

Our humidity has been low lately. Haven't noticed any extra cooling so far. Mostly seems same with or without 'leaf' mode.

Thanks for checking
