Current temp not on home screen

Once I open the app I would expect to see the current temperature not the target temp. Instead I have to tap on home to see current. Is there anyway of altering this?

Hey there,

I wanted to follow up with you. Once you open the app, you will want to tap on your thermostat on the home screen. You should see both the target and current temp, as displayed like on thermostat itself. 

I would also recommend double-checking your settings if you own a 3rd gen Nest Learning Thermostat. You can enable or disable Farsight in the Display menu. Farsight can display information on your thermostat screen when it notices you enter a room. You can choose what to display:

• Target temperature
• Current temperature

Hi Jake.

I don't think it is something you can help with, it is just the disappointing way the app works.  Once I open the app I would like to see the current temp at that point not the temp that I want it to be.  I don't know why the app seems to prioritise to set temp not the current temp.
