Daikin and Google Nest

Hello, 

We have a Nest 3rd Gen and we recently upgraded our AC unit to a Daikin DC6VSS3010 and we were not told about the compatibility of the unit with the Nest thermostat. Our new air conditioner utilizes a Daikin One Touch Thermostat. Is there a model of the nest thermostat we can upgrade to or is there something else we can do? Or are we doomed to this thermostat with zero smart functionality?

From what I can find on the Daikin website, it is not compatible with any type of hardwired thermostat
